This exquisitely crafted samurai sword is made of T10 steel. The blade is treated with clay tempering to form distinctive black hamon lines, with a hardness of 58-60 HRC. Fully hand polished, the blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through bamboo, bottles, straw mats and more.
The tsuba is beautifully carved with flower patterns and secured firmly by two seppa spacers for stable use. The scabbard is designed to perfectly fit the sword’s curvature, fully shielding the blade for safe carrying. The tsuka handle is constructed from hardwood wrapped with genuine shark skin, which fits snugly in your hand for comfortable grip. The tsuba, kashira pommel and fuchi collar are all crafted from gilded copper.
