This exquisitely crafted katana features a blade forged from T10 steel with clay tempering, forming classic black hamon lines on the blade. The blade hardness reaches 58-60 HRC after heat treatment. Finished by hand polishing, the blade is extremely sharp, capable of effortlessly cutting bamboo, plastic bottles, straw mats and other items.
Its tsuba is elaborately engraved with ocean wave patterns and firmly fixed with two seppa spacers for stable and reliable use. The tsuka handle is made of hardwood wrapped with genuine shark skin, fitting comfortably in the palm for a secure grip. The tsuba, kashira pommel and fuchi collar are all made of gilded copper.
